Ah the wonderful world of gaming now this is something I spend some time doing to
help ease the boredom of living in the middle of nowhere
you see I am the proud owner of a LAN which I use to play multiplayer games over normally
against my Brother. In deathmatch I am known as Hellfire,
In Quake 2 I have my own skin based on the enforcer model and a load of daft sounds, I have
provided the sound packs I have made for download.
In combat I was unbeatable a force of nature which no weapon could stop even Bots cowered
when they saw me come.
But then I down loaded Action Quake this evened things up a bit the normal CHARGE!!
tactic stopped working causing me to lose several games against regular deathmatch opponent

who quite often I'd Beat at Quake 2 but I have not played him in some time and my skills
have greatly improved! showdown time me thinks.
That was 1 week ago and now the showdown has happened and gone in my favor with a score of
38 - 20 to me and here is a screen shot to prove it
I may have a LAN and other people may have a LAN but some people don't, this forces them to play Quake 2 over the net on a server which means high ping rates. Which is bad so you have 2 choices you can play over the net with high ping rates or you can download the Erasor bots which are just plain stupid and to easy to beat even on the harder skill setings. However I have found the best bot out there the CRbot and they do truly kick ass they have 10 skill levels 1 being can't even shoot straight and 10 being between the eyes at 10,000 paces with a rocket launcher, and all in only 183Kb rather than the 12 megs for the erasor bots. in fact the only problem with them is that they are hard to use. they are avalible for download here.
